Celine is aware of how influential her family is. But to know that the big client Callahan was eyeing for how many months—he even ended up marrying her just to get the trust of Mr. Clarkson—she cannot believe that he is just one of her brother’s employees.

“He works for Chance?” Celine elaborated, as she could not digest what Gaile had told her.

“Mr. Clarkson is one of the board members of your brother’s company. Though he plays an important role since he also contributes heavily to the business of your brother, Chance is still the CEO.”

Celine was mind-blown by how her brother seemed to be working thoroughly on his business. But she knew that out of all her brothers, it was Lucas who was the most competitive. She was a bit thankful that Mr. Clarkson was under Chance, though she could smell that once Chance found out what she was doing, she would be scolded for sure.

“Do me a favor and tell Mr. Clarkson to approve Callahan’s offer. I want him to get him. Prioritize him,” Celine said w
