Alex POV

It is 11:34 in the evening and I am still up, searching cute lingerie sets.

It's just so addictive.

As I'm searching, I hear keys rattling and the door opening. For a second there I thought somebody was breaking in, but why would they have keys.

Idiot.

Mason comes into view and I shut my laptop really fast. I get up and collect my stuff before dashing for my bedroom, before I was stopped.

"Hey, you ok?" He asks

"I'm fine. Why?" I ask playing dumb. I'm probably red as hell right about now.

"You seem a little flustered." He says with a shit eating smirk. What is going on in his mind right now.

I blush even more as I start picturing what he might be thinking about. Damn.

"I'm ok. Just a little hot in here." I lie. "Ok. Well goodnight."

"Goodnight." I whisper and practically run to my room. Slamming the door shut, I lean back onto it and deeply exhale the breathe I didn't even know I was holding.

The escaped rays of the sun hit my face at an angle that covers my whole face with warmth.

I peek one eye open and see a figure at my window. Thinking that it's my mind playing tricks on me, I ignore it.

"Wakey wakey, Sunshit." A raspy voice disrupts my sleep filled daze.

"Ahhh!" An ear piercing scream leaves my mouth as I jump up.

"Shit. Why are you screaming?" The voice asks. I blink five times and my vision I cleared.

In front of me stands a very, very sexy Mason. Shirtless might I add.

His hair is messy but he manages to pull it off. His shirtless abdomen is chiseld to perfection. Abs all prominent and shit. His sweats hang low very on his hips and his face is sleep filled. His gorgeous brown eyes are half closed and his lips are puffy.

Perfection. That's the word to describe this specimen in front of me. I should really stop giving him all these weird names.

"Alex. Are you even listening?" He asks in a bored tone. "Huh, what were you saying?" I ask still asleep and still dazed by his beauty.

"I asked you if my friends could come over today to hang. If it's ok with you." He finishes looking at me expectantly.

"Yeah sure. Just clean up after you're done. And save me some pizza of you're going to order any. I'll just be in my room all day." I say walking to my closest to get comfortable clothes to stay in.

"Why don't you invite your friends?" He asks.

"Why do you ask so many questions?" I snap not meaning to. "I'm sorry. I'm in a bitchy mood and it's not fair that I take it out on you." I say sighing.

Truth is, since Mason moved in, a month ago, Reevan has gone off almost completely silent. We text and Facetime cause he's in Canada with his parents. His gran is sick and about to die so he's spending as much time, as he can with her.

I get it, but I miss him and I'm really lonely. Guess I just gotta wait it out.

"I expect you to be out before I get back. I'm gonna take a shower."

"Aw. No show? That sucks." He fakes sadness.

"Whatever. Just get out." I tell him.

He chuckles and walks out. "You could always join us if you want to." He says.

"I'll think about it."

"Don't think too hard." He says as I walk into the bathroom.
