Michael’s POV

It’s been two days since my arrest was ordered. I’ve just been placed in an interrogation room. Since I’ve not been convicted yet.

Donovan and my lawyer have been trying their best to let me out. But nothing happened.

I hadn’t eaten anything since they brought me in. I refused.

Who knew if the food was poisoned?

I was about to sleep when I heard the door creak open, revealing the police and Donovan.

“You have just an hour,” The officer warned.

“Can you make it two?” Donovan asked, tipping him some money.

The officer hesitated, glancing up at the security camera to make sure it was off.

“Two hours?” The police said, looking from me to Donovan.

“You got it. Just two hours. No more, no less. Thanks,” Donovan said before handing over the money to the policeman finally.

The door shut, leaving just the both of us alone.

I was about to approach Donovan before I remembered that my hand was still cuffed to the table.

“I need you to save me, Donovan. Please,”
