Chapter 16

DECLAN

The afternoon was going smoothly amidst the so many guests that kept popping in. My smile never expired, my lips were kissing my teeths so hard that they became sticky.

"Lady Margaret," I shouted and the woman turned to spare me a glance.

She was clothed in a heavy corset adorned with gold linnings. Her hair was packed in a bridal style and on her left hand was a fan which she used to fan herself every now and then.

"Declan," I poked my chest and she smiled, revealing her nice dentition. "Welcome, the party's this way." I held my hand with the other, bowing slightly to her.

"Thank you Declan," she humoured and walked away.

I spent my time welcoming the dignitaries and once they were complete I went to join them, talking about the pack and mostly about the kingdom's safety and cooperation between the four kingdoms.
