♧Chapter Nineteen; CANVAS AND WINDOW♧

A letter came in for the Luna and was brought up to her room by a servant the next morning. She just got out the bathroom and heard the soft knock on the door. She hurried to get it with her hair dripping water and shrivelled fingertips.

"Good morning Luna," the bubbly brunette smiled and June nodded. "A letter just came in for you." She held the cream coloured envelope for June to grab.

Skeptically, june reached for it and subsequently perused it. "Thank you." She responded, holding on the steel handle of the door.

The servant nodded with a smile before taking off. June closed the door, leaned against it and read the sender's address on the envelope. The letter came from her house, the homely place she'd grew up in and she instinctively knew her dad wrote this. Her stomach churned. He was reaching out to her. But she didn't want to be reached out to. He seems happy without her, without his late mate. Why reach out to her?
