13. MOVE ON

Heavy footsteps were heard in a huge yard as some men dressed in military uniforms marched around the laid down lines in an organized manner. Their guns were gummed tightly to their side with their faces straight and stern, the only voice heard is that of the commander who was yelling each command at the top of his voice.

They dare not miss any command or fall behind so they were all in sync, their bodies moving at the same time and pace. It was obvious that it was a normal routine that wasn’t even strange to any of them at that point, at the sound of a loud and long whistle, they sped off to the end of the track as if their lives depended on it.

“If you come in last, there is no food for you this morning” the one commanding growled as he watched them run for their lives.
