He hit me with the same force again.

He was too angry to stop.

He just kept spanking me.

My eyes welled up each time till I let the tears run freely.

" pleasee" I screamed as he spanked me again.

"I tried to be nice and you did this?", he lifted me all of a sudden.

I stood up visibly shaking and crying.

"Lay down on the bed. I want to see all of you clearly"

I was in no position to deny him.

I just lay there exposing my body to him.

Just laying there made me remember what he did last time.

I was too weak but he was too cruel.

More tears started flowing down as I saw him removing his shirt.

I knew what he was about to do, but I couldn't stop i* from happening.

I shut my eyes tightly.

I heard the sound of a belt and pulling down my clothes.

I could hear footsteps approaching me.

My heart was sinking lower and lower.

I could feel the bed being pressed down with his weight.

I flinched as he traced his finger on my arm but I suddenly felt covered....with a blanket.

I opened my eyes just to see him pulling the blanket covering both of us.

He hugged my naked body to his, and adjusted the blankets.

I stared at him confused.

"Peter…", I whispered.

"Sssshhh just sleep! We will talk tomorrow", he kissed my forehead, running his fingers in my hair.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM?

I felt warm in his embrace.

I didn't know why

The same devil whom I was scared of was the one who could comfort me!

It's unbelievable right?

I was shocked as well.

I just closed my eyes, sobbing quietly before drifting to the valley of sleep.

I saw her angelic face and kissed her forehead before leaving.

I wore a pair of jeans and came out to the balcony feeling the fresh air on my face.

I sighed, closing my eyes as I thought of her frightened face when I asked her to lay down on the bed.

Her expressions reminded me of something painful...

Something I was running away from...

She looked so innocent and scared like a child.

I couldn't bring myself to do anything to her.

She suffered enough already.

She was not well.

I already figured out that something happened otherwise she was not the type to disobey me when I clearly forbade her.

But I was too possessive to let her stand beside Josiah.

Let alone hold his hand.

"Where is your phone?", I turned to look Raymond panting, head bent hands on his knees

"Oh Raymond! What are you doing here at this hour?" I was puzzled.

"Please tell me that you didn't hurt her?",

I chuckled.

"That's not your business. By the way she is sleeping",

Raymond's muscles relaxed as he sighed.

He walked towards me sitting on the carved stone.

I looked at my cell phone.

"hah! He hasn't called me for 2 years but called for her!", I laughed sarcastically.
