The waiter saved Alicia by suddenly appearing with their order . Alicia ate the food carefully with relish the meal was exquisite she completely forgot she was on a date with Dimitri as she moaned when she tasted the chocolate cake with the coconut cream topping the sweetness melting in her mouth .

“ I see you like it ” his deep voice vibrated instantly making her regain conciousness of where she was she blushed embarrassed . He laughed lightly “ nothing to feel shy of love , most people have the same exact reaction ” . Alicia eyes met with Dimitri's dark eyes , she averted her gaze and akwardly continued with her desert quietly .

By nine thirty pm they were done with dinner and now driving back to Alicia's apartment. “ Hope you enjoyed the dinner ”. “ Yes I definitely did , thank you ” .

“ I didn't even get the chance to ask you personal questions I was too caught up admiring you but I'll be honest with you , there's nothing I don't know about you already . You caught my attention that night at the club and I did a thorough background check on you ” .

“ Back ground check ?” Alicia asked taken aback by his revelation.

“ I must apologize if it offends you but for a man of my caliber and wealth I have to be sure about the women around me . I can't just take any woman out in public I had to be sure first ”

As arrogant as what he said sounds Alicia had to agree with his taking precautions. What he doesn't know is I also have a background check on him that'll he'll never find out about. You have no idea Dimitri.

“ Don't be mad say something ”he said looking at her . She cleared her throat “ first off eyes on the road please ” he chuckled lightly.

“ Aye aye captain”

“ And I'm not mad at you running a background check , did you find what you were looking for?”

Dimitri smiled thoughtfully “ I didn't expect a beautiful woman like you to have passed through such maltreatment in the hand of man she loved .” Alicia's heart beat sporadically How did he find out about that !? Wait is that online or something? But my relationship with Tristan was kept a secret .

“ No , I didn't find out about you from the media I have my ways . I'm very sorry for how you were treated and if you give me the chance I'll want to do better .show you off and show you how beautiful love and life is ” .

Alica found her voice and responded “ maybe you're just saying that to get to me ” . Dimitri laughed quite darkly “ Darling you're attracted to me as much as I'm attracted to you . I don't have to lie to a woman to get into her pants . In every sense that a man needs a woman I need you ”.

Alica felt like this was a fever dream this was Dimitri freaking Valentino handsome bachelor billionare the man every woman wants telling her he needed her and wants a chance to love her .

Alicia felt so self conscious and hot she just wanted to get down from this car and rub to the comfort of her room . “ I don't expect an answer to ight , I'm sorry if I startled you with my direct approach but I am a straight forward man . I want you to be mine , I want to take all the years of abuse and make it a distant memory ”

The car stopped suddenly and Alicia looked around to notice they were at her parking lot . Dimitri's words had cracked a brick in the wall in her heart . He removed his seat belt and freed her from hers too cupping her cup cheek in the palm of his hand using his thumb to massage her lower lip .

The touch was mild but it caused slight delicious tremors to course through her body , her breathing changed .

Dimitri's eyes dripped with lust and it was obvious what he wanted , what they both wanted . He drew his head closer and Alicia closed her eyes and held her breath thinking he was going to kiss her but instead she felt his warm lips kiss a pluse on her neck .

It sent an electric feeling through her body and her continued his onslaught kissing her neck , she bit her lips in a failed attempt to hold back her low moans .

Then he suddenly stopped , the air cooling where his lips were. “ Can I kiss you ” his deep voice vibrated . Alicia mentally wrestled with her head and Sally's advice looking for a response. Dimitri kissed the corner of her lips down to her neck.

To heck with it ! She managed to gasp “ yes ” Dimitri gave a dark smrik and brought his lips to her kissing her gently at first his lips asking for entrance . She parted her lips admitting him they kissed deeply their tongues dueling. When he pulled back ,she felt the loss of his lips and was sure her lips were swollen .

He chuckled darkly “ you better get down from this or I won't let you go . You've completely filled my head and all I can think about is being with you if you stay one more minute in this car I'll take that as your acceptance of what is about to happen”

It took all her will power to say “ Good night Dimitri ,I'll be in touch ” . She came down from the car and went up to her apartment.

She opened the door and leaned her back on the door hand over her chest trying to steady her heart beat . “ Well well well , from how you look I take it that it went well really well from that hickey on your neck” Sally said with a amused look of her face.

Alicia jumped slightly “ didn't see you there , you scared me ” . Sally took a seat on the couch “ mind explaining the hickey and why your lips are red and swollen. You made out with him didn't you ” she dramatically put a hand on her eyebrow.

“ Yes but he seduced me ! And and and ”

“ And nothing girl , you have no excuse now give me the juicy details”.

Alicia sat next to her on the couch and narrated the evening . “ Wow I don't blame you , man is a master on the art of seduction . But please make it clear the ninety days rule ‘ no cookie’ okay ? last thing we want is him thinking you're some weak woman ”

“ I'll do my best ”

“ Something bothers me though , hope he isn't trying to take advantage of your emotional vunerable state since he knows about your past with Tristan. You have to be very careful powerful men can be very manipulative”

“ You're right , I'll try to slow things down and not fall for him ”

“ Great ! And guess what I have amazing news for you ”

“ Really , spill already ” Alicia said excitedly . “ My guy at the top HR firm got you an interview for the role of the personal assistant of Billionaire Alexander Kings ”

“ Wow that's great ”

“ I know you too well you're faking excitement, look I know because you've met Dimitri and his brother you feel like that's enough but you can't say so give this a try at least if not for anything to have a job that'll keep you busy ”.

“ You're right as always ”

“ Good , now the interview is for 10 am tomorrow morning . I'll be going back to my place and before you say anything . Yes you will be fine but I need to resume tomorrow my boss has being blowing up my phone .”

“ I'll miss you being here ,but I really appreciate it's rare to find a friend and sister in one person ”

“ Aww don't make me cry ” they embarced on the couch.

“ Now let's go to bed we have to leave the house in time tomorrow and don't forget to update your journal on Dimitri and his personality we'll have to make a comparison before you accept to anything”.

“ Sure, you're right as always ” they laughed lightly .
