GALEN:

“You can’t do this,’’ I stepped forward.

“I think we just did. My wife and I support Olivia’s decision. You are a horrible husband and getting away from you is what’s best for her.’’

I looked back at my father, who had already excused himself to make some phone calls.

“I want to speak to her myself.’’

“No!’’ His voice was high and firm. “You’ve already caused enough damage.’’

“Guards!’’ I called out for my security detail, who came running in the next second.

“How do you want to do this, Michael?’’ I challenged him, “My guards are going to pull you away from that door at my command. But it doesn’t have to go that way.’’

A couple of nurses were already ogling at us. I didn’t like making a scene. But I needed to see my wife, and I was prepared to do it whatever means necessary.

My father in law signaled for his men to step aside, and to which they obliged.

Olivia's family and mine were united in business and in marriage. However, there was this minimal rivalry between us.
