Chapter 23: Fated Reunion
The realization slowly crept into Perseus that his life had been tampered with and his freedom was cut short by the meddling of some witch. He stared angrily at Archibald, furious at the situation he was in, but unable to do anything about it.
“Now that I can actually make you to listen to me,” Archibald started. Perseus felt a pang of shame at his words. “I want you to hear what Massimo told me about Selene.”
“What about the woman?”
“Do you remember the story of how our kind came to existence?”
