Emma's POV

Draven walked to the front and said, “I think that is enough. You will get dizzy.”

“No, I am never getting off of this.” I said at the top of my voice.

His face was clouding with worry seeing how fast this was going. He said, “Emma, I am serious. Get down! I don't have a good feeling about this.”

“What are you worried about?” Just as soon as I said this, my hands slipped off the bar and I went flying off the swing.

“Careful!” Time seemed to have slowed down as I found myself falling

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   The honey trap

Alex’s POVMe and Desiree were standing outside the venue of the pool party where she said we would find the man who could tell us where Asher is. The music that was blasting inside was modern and the people were having fun, it did not look like the place where we would find a man tied up to a criminal organization. We both walked in and sat next on a table next to the bar, I looked around but could not find anyone suspicious.“Are you sure he will be here? Because I have no hopes and we don't have time to squander.” I said, worried that Desiree was just wasting my time to be petty. She said, “If one thing I know from dating that man for three months is he loves partying at this place.”“Dating? You were dating someone from the cartel? Does Draven even know about this?” “He doesn't and he doesn't. So keep your mouth shut.” She stared daggers at me for a while before her eyes shifted to something behind me. She immediately looked away and lowered her head, “Don't turn around. He is he

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   All for her

Draven's POVThe voice on the phone, which was still till now, flickered with a hint of surprise, “Is that so?”The man looked at me with pleasantness beaming from his eyes, “What do you want us to do now, boss? Should we force him to sign the stepping-down agreement?”“No need for that. The whole point of making him step down from the position of the Alpha was no make him weaker so that we could kill him easily. Now that he is right here, we can just execute him.”My blood froze when I heard what the ‘boss’ said. Was this all just to kill me? Being the Alpha of the pack, I did have an extra layer of protection around me all the time. To think that the kidnapping of the kids to make me step down was just a small part of a carefully executed plan to kill me was giving me the idea that the person on the other side of the phone was not just any regular person. The man grinned, “Gladly, boss. I will update you once I am done with this.”The call was hung up, and the men gathered around to

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   My children are innocent

Draven's POV“Alpha, the soldiers are positioned as per your order,” Trace reported to me, snapping me out of my trance. My eyes intensified at the old factory building in front of me; it turned out there was an entire section of forest that was off our records. This abandoned sugar factory sure was old and seemed to have been abandoned decades ago, but there is no way our pack wouldn’t be aware of its existence, unless someone meddled with our records and made sure this place was kept in the dark. The more I connected the dots, the scarier it got. The way everything was unfolding, it seemed like Robin was indeed right and someone really powerful was operating behind the scenes. Was it really Crusers? And if it really is the Crusers, why are they operating near my pack, miles away from their origin place of Italy? And why would an underworld gang kidnap my kids? What does this all have to do with them? It was not making sense to me, but something within me told me that this was far d

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   It was real

Emma's POVI got inside the car and looked over at Draven. He was focused on the road and looked too calm for the situation.I was itching to ask him about the white wolf and if he knew anything about it. Before he could, he asked me, “What were you doing when you established contact with Ashel’s wolf?”“I…” I thought about it and said, “Nothing. I was just too panicked and worried.”“So it happened on its own, and you did not do anything?”“No.” I replied and looked down, “Do you even think it is real?”“Yes.” He gave me a shocking reply, “I have heard about it during my training and have read about this in books, but I never thought it was real.”“What? What are you talking about?”“It is an ancient power. There were wolves who could establish contact with the spirits of other wolves, no matter how far they were.”My mind was blown by this information. I have never heard about it before. I know that Alphas can mindlink with other wolves but they have to belong to the same pack and h

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   I trust her

Emma's POV“Emma? Emma…” Draven’s panicked voice woke me up from my slumber. “Thank God you are okay.” Relief clouded his face as he opened the car door. I looked around to see that I was in the middle of nowhere. It turned out I had parked my car and just dozed off; everything I saw was just a mere dream. But the voice… and the wolf… they seemed so realistic.“Are you alright?” Draven asked as he unbuckled my seat belt. He grabbed my hand and helped me step out of the vehicle. My head was unusually heavy and dizzy, I was just numb and going wherever he was taking me. Turns out Draven was not alone, the Gamma and scouts were here as well. The man asked, “Miss Whitemane, are you alright?”I nodded, unable to say a word. He asked, “What happened? Why did you run away all of a sudden? The Alpha was worried about you.”I could not answer his question. Instead, I looked at Draven and asked, “Ashel… Did you find her?”Draven replied, “We are still searching.”“Then… Then we should not wa

  • I Became An Alpha After Divorce   The mysterious wolf

Emma's POVMy composure crumbled. “Draven,” I choked out, “I don’t know what’s happening to me. I am hallucinating. I think I am losing my mind.”“Hey, hey. Breathe. Tell me what happened.”I swallowed hard, my fingers trembling as I sent him my location, “Please, hurry.”“I AM on my wa.,” he assured me. “Stay put.”Just as I hung up, movement caught my eye. A figure stood in the middle of the road, draped in a black robe.My pulse spiked. My instincts screamed at me to drive, to leave, but something held me in place. Slowly, I rolled down my window. “Do you need help?”No response. My phone chimed again. I glanced at the message from Draven—Almost there. When I lifted my gaze, the figure was gone.A shiver ran down my spine. I scanned the area, my breath catching when I turned to my side—The figure stood right next to my window.I barely had time to gasp. My heart slammed against my ribs, my chest tightening with panic. The woman’s hood cast deep shadows over her face, but I could f
