Chapter 8

I handed the police another piece of evidence containing countless records of medical experiments.

Elle had carried out trials on many women in order to perfect her method of ensuring a child’s survival. When none of them gave her the results she wanted, she finally set her sights on me. Including myself, there were nearly ten victims in total.

I stepped down hard on Zack’s face and kicked him with all the strength I had, showing him no mercy.

“You don’t need to worry about sending me to hell,” I spat coldly, “because I’ll make sure you go there first. You’re never getting out of prison.”

For the first time, Zack seemed to realize things had gone completely wrong. His eyes were hollow, with disbelief written all over his face.
