My father, ever so obedient to his alpha or was it fear? I didn’t know. But he hurried and hid the documents behind him and smiled nervously.  He hurried and said, "Alpha, it’s nothing. Aurora was just being childish… she upset you; I apologize on her behalf."

Shook my head, I did nothing wrong, and I had no time to waste. I turned to Rowan. “I want you to reject me or I will, and you will accept it. Let’s put an end to all this.” I went to my face and grabbed the documents out of his hand and handed the divorce papers to him.

Rowan’s expression darkened. "You’d better stop! Don’t make a scene."

"If it weren’t for Vivian disappearing back then, I wouldn’t have married you. And now you’re still not satisfied!" Rowan said mercilessly.

My breath hitched. For a second, the world tilted. I tried to answer him, but the pain hit me hard — a burning wave rising through my chest.

The poison.

I stumbled, clutching my stomach. My vision blurred. I could feel it coming, the bile rising up, and I tried to swallow it down, to keep some shred of dignity. But I couldn’t.

Blood spilled from my mouth.

Rowan froze, horror flickering across his face,"You’re vomiting blood! What’s happening to you?"

But before he could move, my brother’s cold voice cut through the air.

“Hmph, no one hit her. Who is she pretending for now?”

I tried to speak, to defend myself, but my body refused to listen. Every breath burned. The world tilted.

Then, the door burst open.

“Second Miss—Vivian! She’s back!” an omega cried breathlessly, joy spilling from her voice.

For one heartbeat, no one moved. Then, all at once, they turned away from me.

My mother gasped and rushed toward the door. My father followed, his anger forgotten. Grayson was already halfway down the hall before I even saw him move.

And Rowan… he hesitated for a moment, then said to me, “I’ll call a doctor to see you.” After that, he ran toward the gate.

I stayed where I was, my knees on the cold marble, my hands trembling. The taste of iron filled my mouth. I pressed my fingers to my lips and saw blood staining them dark red.

A small laugh escaped me — weak, broken.

“Welcome home, dear sister,” I whispered.

And as the last of my strength slipped away, I realized—I really was dying.

So this… this was what death felt like,

gentle and cold, as the darkness swallowed me whole.

When I opened my eyes again, I was weightless. Floating.

For a moment, I thought I had survived — until I looked down.

My body lay on the floor, hand still on my stomach, dried blood at my lips.

No one had noticed. My family was gathered around Vivian, laughing and crying, Rowan holding her as if she were the only soul in existence.

So this is death?

Then why hasn’t my soul faded away?

Then, all at once-light.

For a heartbeat, there was nothing.

Then, a voice. It seemed to ripple through the stars themselves.

Aurora Hart.

My breath caughtif breath even existed anymore.

The brilliance softened, folding into a gentle glow, and through it I saw her.

The Moon Goddess.

I turned to the Moon Goddess, my voice trembling yet reverent.

“What… what is happening? Am I dead?”

“Yes,” she said softly, her tone both sorrowful and calm. “But not entirely. You are standing between life and death.”

I froze, uncertain what she meant. The words echoed through the vast silence around us.

She continued, her silver eyes glowing like twin moons.

“In this life, you were betrayed—your destiny left unfulfilled. Tell me, Aurora… do you wish for a second chance to rewrite it all?”

At that, something inside me flared alive. A spark of desperate hope.

“Yes,” I whispered. “Please. I have a child—unborn, unprotected. I have to go back.”

The Goddess smiled, a faint curve of light and eternity.

“Good. Then steel your heart, for soon, help will come to find you.”

Her form began to blur, dissolving into mist and moonlight until she was gone.

I drifted through the air again and saw it—the front gates of my home.

“My darling daughter, you’re safe. You’re home!”

My father’s soft murmur followed. “Don’t cry, my love. She’s here now.”

And Grayson’s voice — gentle for the first time in years — “Sis… I missed you.”

I wanted to laugh. So that’s how it was. Their tenderness was only for her.

“Brother, I missed you too.” Vivian’s voice sliced through me, sweet and venomous. My stomach twisted painfully. Blood filled my mouth again. The poison was claiming me faster than I’d expected.

Then Rowan’s voice — soft, trembling — “Vivi…”

I had forgotten how gentle he could sound.

“Rowan…” she whispered back, mimicking him, her tone sickly sweet.

I thought of the years I’d spent beside him, healing him, loving him in silence. What a fool I’d been.

He never saw me — only the shadow of the woman he truly wanted.

“Where have you been?” Rowan asked softly. “Why didn’t you reach out all these years?”

Vivian lowered her head and began to cry — the oldest trick she knew.

“Alpha, she must have suffered so much,” someone said. “Let’s give her time.”

And just like that, her tears worked their magic again.

Vivian smiled, radiant. “A meal with my family would be nice right now.”

My mother nodded eagerly. “I’ll cook all your favourites!”

I almost laughed. She had never once cooked for me. She didn’t even know what my favourite food was.

Vivian poured drinks, proposing a toast to her safe return.

Father kissed her cheek before leaving for a meeting.

Mother followed soon after, claiming she was tired.

I watched, hollow and bitter.

Why had I ever craved their love?

Rowan and Grayson stayed behind, drinking and laughing with Vivian late into the night.

I sat beside my lifeless body, whispering prayers to the Goddess.

“Please… let this end. Haven’t I suffered enough? Where is my second chance?

My body was still on the floor, growing cold.

Then, around five in the morning, the kitchen door creaked open.

A man stepped inside, glancing around. He wasn’t one of our pack — I didn’t know him.

To my shock, he went straight to me. Kneeling beside my body, he checked my pulse, then quietly lifted me into his arms.

“Who are you?” I whispered, though my voice made no sound. “Where are you taking me?”

He didn’t answer. He slipped out through the kitchen door, carrying me into the darkness before dawn.

From above, I watched the house fade behind us.

A bitter laugh escaped me.

“I wonder how long it will take them to notice that I’m gone.”

At that moment, my gaze fell on the man once more—and a jolt ran through me.

He looked familiar.

No… it couldn’t be.

But then, like a flood breaking loose, I remembered who he was!

AURORAI tried to turn, only to be hit by a sharp pain on my side that made me groan. “Are you wake, do you need anything?” that was Darien, he was always there whenever I got myself into trouble. “Where is Conri?” I was trying to sit up but he pushed me back to lay down. “Don’t move like that, you will open your stitches.” I laid back reluctantly. “Conri is fine,” he moved for me to see, through the door I could see Conri with the seer on the rocking chair. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. “How are you feeling?” my mind went to the nanny. “Where is the nanny?” Darien raised an eyebrow.“Send someone to her place, she told me they had her mother. Please send someone there.” Darien sighed. “So, she was the one who stabbed you.” I didn’t care about that, and it was not like she wanted to. “She had no choice, D

ROWANAfter leaving the beta, the warrior took me to a pile of bodies. They were about to burn them when we got there. I searched through them; you could imagine how that went. Me tossing bodies around, The Undead warriors glaring and growling at me. But they couldn’t do anything since I got permission to check. But I didn’t find her, by the time I got back to the gate where I left Steven, I looked as if I as in the battle as well. Body all over my clothes and hands. Steven hurried to me; they refused to let him enter with me. I understood where they were coming from since they just got attacked.“Alpha, are you alright?” I nodded leading the way toward the car. It was in the front gate. It was like I was having an out of body experience. I didn’t find Aurora amongst the dead bodies. Which was good, it meant she was alive somewhere. But I couldn’t take my mind off that baby, it didn’t belong to the beta judging by what he said. But why couldn’t I stop thinking about him? “Alpha, what

DARIENThe pack was busy dealing with the aftermath of the battle with the rogues. The future king, Conri. Slept as if he were dragged. His mother on the other hand, I glanced at her. She was still unconscious, and her condition was very concerning for me. The seer went and came back with some medicine and applied it to her wound. The silver had turned the blood on the wound dark making it look old and infected. She was going to be fine; I had faith in the seer but that didn’t mean liked seeing the woman get hurt. She had been through enough and I wanted her to be happy.“Someone find the nanny for me and bring her here. Dead or alive.” I send a message through the mind link. Where was she, where did she go and why did she leave her alone with the baby. Who stabbed her? I needed answers, I hated not knowing things.I sent my beta away right in the middle of the battle to go find out who hired those morons and what it was they wanted. They was no way they could be that persistent. What

STEVENI ran like a mad man towards The Undead. People might not understand why I was the one running around for that woman. To me, the Luna was not just anyone, she was a good woman. Someone who was nice to an outcast like me even though I was one of the high-ranking wolves. No one cared for me or bothered to listen to me.That was the alpha’s doing, always listening to Jayson and Greyson. I didn’t even know why he listened to Greyson when he was not part of the pack’s management or was it because he was of beta blood. Was he trying to make up for the fact that he chose Jayson instead of him to be his beta? I didn’t know. But what I didn’t understand was why was I treated indifferently by them? Only the Luna reported things to me. Gave me a plate of food or a cup of coffee or snack when I was working late. If she knew I was in the office with the alpha, she would bring me food as well.If not, she would check on me in the back yard and bring me food. That was the kind of person she w

ROWAN“Something is wrong with our mate?” I stood, for the past days I had been trying to get back to my routine. Going to the training grounds in the morning but I skipped the runs with Jayson and Greyson. I was not ready to force a smile with them as if everything was okay. I had also taken back some of the pack duties from father.Nothing too serious, though. I was in my office going through some paperwork when Damon decided it was a good idea to tell me about our mate. “What is wrong, can you tell where she is?” Aurora was alive, that was for sure, but I didn’t know where she was.“I can’t tell where she is, but I can feel her distress.” I paced, what was I going to do about that, huh? Sit around crossing fingers and hope for the best. Just where the fuck was, she and what was going on with her? The door suddenly opened and in walked my mother. I sighed feeling drained already, I knew whatever she was going to say was something I was not going to like. But she did look happy, wha

  • I Died as His Luna, He Went Mad   CHAPTER 75

DARIENI had expected them to come but I didn’t think they would have the numbers. But they did and they were prepared. Their leaders were present as well, which meant one of two things. One, they were paid a huge amount of money for the attack or two. They were doing it for personal reasons, which I didn’t know what they could be as I had never had any encounter with them. But then again, they were rogues, they didn’t need a reason to act the way they did, it was in their nature. There was one thing they didn’t think about though or take into consideration. My pack, we were not called the undead for no reason. We all could have died at some point, but we defeated death and came back to life.Neither one of us was afraid to death, that was the different between us and them. “Undead! We don’t have all day, let’s finish this!” I yelled at them as I stood bloodied in the middle of dead bodies. My warriors responded in kind. They moved like the ghosts they were killing everything in sight
