STEVEN

I ran like a mad man towards The Undead. People might not understand why I was the one running around for that woman. To me, the Luna was not just anyone, she was a good woman. Someone who was nice to an outcast like me even though I was one of the high-ranking wolves. No one cared for me or bothered to listen to me.

That was the alpha’s doing, always listening to Jayson and Greyson. I didn’t even know why he listened to Greyson when he was not part of the pack’s management or was it because he was of beta blood. Was he trying to make up for the fact that he chose Jayson instead of him to be his beta? I didn’t know.

But what I didn’t understand was why was I treated indifferently by them? Only the Luna reported things to me. Gave me a plate of food or a cup of coffee or snack when I was working late. If she knew I was in the office with the alpha, she would bring me food as well.
