This place ain’t got shit in common with the second quarter. It looks like some five-star wolf resort, the kind of place rich-ass alphas probably send their spoiled brats when they’re tired of them wrecking the pack house.

The walls are all fancy black marble, shiny as hell. The floors are so damn polished you could fix your makeup just staring at your own reflection. And the lights? Oh, the fucking lights hanging from the ceiling are straight-up boujee…shaped like moon crescents, glowing warmly.

“Goddess, this is beautiful,” Lana’s eyes go wide, and I swear her jaw nearly hits the floor.

The tall dude leading us, just gives this cocky little smirk and waves for us to keep moving. So we follow him down another hallway, passing all these thick oak doors. But it’s quiet as hell. Like too quiet.

“Where the hell is everybody?” I blurt out, curious.

“They're having dessert.”
