The Truth.

Jacob was on his way back to Mike’s, thinking of how everything he’s worked so hard for almost ended.

“What is she trying to do” Jacob asked himself,

He knows better that Kliara got something up her sleeves for not reporting him and he also knows that it wasn’t just out of mercy from her heart.

When he returned, he met with Mike,

“I have something to tell you, ” he said.

Mike remembered their discussion the previous day together with what he had found out about Jacob and thought he came back to tell him more.

Mike stopped all he was doing, pulled out a chair for himself and Jacob to sit.

“So what is it you want to tell me?” Mike asked as he was eager to hear what Jacob had to say.

“Thank you for taking me in and caring for me” he said

Mike was confused and asked him if he was already leaving.

“Yes and no,” Jacob replied.

Mike got more confused so Jacob explained all that happened back at Finth’s leaving the part where he was caught by Kliara.

“I see” Mike answered surprised “and you don’t see how dangerous that could turn out” he added

Jacob gave no answers to Mike’s questions

Mike saw that Jacob was in no way ready to answer the question, instead he asked another

“Is that all you want to tell me” with a suspicious tone

Jacob suspected there was more to Mike’s question but again there was no answer from him.

Mike understood he couldn't get the answers he was looking for from Jacob like that, so he slowly stood up and brought out the diary.

He opened to where he had found the crest in the diary and placed it on the table where Jacob sat.

“I saw the same crest on your back while you were changing your cloth” Mike said pointing at the crest in the diary

Jacob looked at the crest in the diary for a while and then closed it. He looked up to Mike and felt that he was eager for answers.

“What do you want” Jacob asked

“At Least you can tell me about the crest, is it true?” Mike asked once more.

Immediately Jacob answered “yes”

He stood up handing Mike the diary as he continued

“Yes I am from the old lines of true ALPHA ”

An overwhelming energy filled the room that almost made Mike pass out as Jacob’s eyes turned blazing red. Mike had to look down immediately away from Jacob as It was Mike’s first time coming across such power.

“You don’t have to fear me” Jacob revealed as he concealed back his power.

Mike raised back his head looking at Jacob who seemed young to possess such power, he asked Jacob why he had come to the human world.

“I can’t tell you that, it may put you in harm's way” he answered Mike for the last time before retreating back to his room.

You might think Jacob was wrong to show Mike his power, but he was no fool, he knows how to read other werewolves and such a display he made told him everything he needed to know about Mike.

Still shaken from the experience, Mike had to sit because his legs were still shaking.

“How can someone conceal such power, that is truly the power of a true Alpha” Mike still can’t believe what he had witnessed

The next morning, Jacob was already at the Finth’s Mansion.

“You took your time” Jacob heard a familiar voice taunting him

“I wasn’t given any time to be here” Jacob said as he followed her

No more words were exchanged between them until they met with williams.

Williams was surprised to see Kliara coming with Jacob.

“Father, this is the valet of my choosing,” Kliara said to Williams .

Having met Jacob before, he knew there was something about him he had not quite figured out. Williams tries to show Kliara a few other valets he had picked out for her but with a cold rejection she still picks Jacob.

He had to agree with Kliara but that didn’t let him lower his guard towards Jacob.

And like before, he discussed with Jacob again about his new job. While discussing, Williams had an idea to clear part of his suspicion

“Get me my blade over from that table” Williams told Jacob pointing at the blade

Knowing fully well what Williams was trying to do, Jacob did as he was told as he grabbed the blade made from silver and handed it to Williams.

Williams watched Jacob carefully as he picked the blade, seeing no reaction from him made him drop his guard.

Jacob was shown around were Kliara’s basic training will take place, Jacob was also careful to watch as he noticed wolfsbane growing every part of the mansion.

Although Jacob was somewhat immune to silver, on the other hand wolfsbane was still quite poisonous to him.
