Dre’s POV

“Tell me about the Tokyo affair, baby,” Xeon softly said before wrapping his arms around my waist from behind while I chopped the onions and prepared our next meal.

“No,” I replied back pat before adding all the veggies in the pan and stir fried them.

“I wanna know,” Xeon insisted while nibbling on the sensitive side of my earlobe.

“No,” I said again before breaking off from his hold and taking care of the noodles in the wash basin.

Xeon settled himself on a high kitchen stool and patiently watched me prepare the sauce before pulling me in his lap while the dish cooked on low flame and scented me everywhere.

He always did that when he was stressed.

So I gave up.

God knows what was bothering him.
