"Remember when you asked me to marry you? " I asked. He nodded.

"Does it still stand? " I asked.

"Are you saying yes? " he asked, excited. I nodded. He picked me up from the ground and rained kisses on my face.

"We would hold a feast to celebrate this. " he said. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"What made you change your mind by the way? I thought you wanted to wait? " he asked.

Thinking of what to say, I turned around and walked towards the window.

"I know I wanted to wait and I thought that was the best decision as at the time. " I said. I turned and faced him.

"But I just went through a near death experience and during that moment all I could think of was you and how I could have allowed myself to be happy with what we have. Not thinking of what the people will say or think about it. " I said.
