I had never seen red in Felix's pupils again, and despite him growing more muscles—which I didn't mind at all—it didn't seem like the magical energy he consumed caused him any harm. Our relationship grew stronger every day, and despite the surrounding darkness, I was slowly learning how it felt to be loved.
