There was something serious underlying that statement. I covered my face with a book. “Everyone stop what you’re doing.”

“Not again. Its Fathres’s Beta” Tala grumped. I gulped the last contents of my orange juice. I have to hide. I cannot let him see me.

There were drapes all over the place. I slowly covered myself inside one of them. I was ashamed of myself when Tala walked up to Fernando. “This is for my birthday party! Its an exception today!” she asked boldly.

Fernando had no choice than to let her do what she wanted.

“Why are you hiding?” a kid’s voice asked me. I almost jumped out of my skin.

“Dante! What are you doing here? SHhhhhhhh” I made him shut up his mouth till Fernando left.

“Why were you hiding? Are you scared of Fernando? I used to be scared of him also, but not anymore” He helped me get up to my feet after Fernando left angrily.

I figured out Tala and her brother Dante had powers over every other person aside from Fernando.
