"What is it?" I chewed my gum effortlessly, making different sounds to irritate him because I know he has never liked me chewing in that manner.

"How is the connection between our son and your so-called husband?"

That question made me realize that truly, there was no connection but I didn't take it to heart because I felt Damien is always busy.

There is no need telling Paul the truth, I have to lie to him.

"There is a big connection between them."

Paul laughed mockingly. " I don't know when you will learn to tell yourself the truth. You know exactly what you said is a lie. They might be playing with each other because the young boy is still at his tender age. Five years from now, the bond will change. His looks will change and trust me Damien will want to know the true paternity of the child."

I was already getting pissed and being inpatient to stand and keep listening to the trash he was vomiting from his mouth.

"Stop it!" I yelled at him, pacing from one end to another.
