Arielle was carried away for a second. She was clueless. She saw Liam moving around the hall as if he owned the place. He peeled his coat off his broad torso and threw it carelessly on the same couch they nearly made out the last time he was here.

Hair dishevelled, eyes tired, a hint of visible dark circles, and light stubble on his face showed his condition. As much as Arielle hated to acknowledge it, he indeed appeared tired and drained out.
