I basically shared all my problems and feelings with her. It was only when my grandfather decided to be mean to me is where I could find the courage to tell her. Because two days before that Arielle had been grounded by her father and was slapped hard in the face for having a rose in her bag. It was mine. I had put it in her bag with a note that her father luckily didn't find except for the rose.

Arielle was like the brightest star in my otherwise dark and aloof life. She radiated my days with her presence and made me feel wanted and loved. So when the problem as to who would become the next successor of my grandfather's flourishing business arose, I made sure to keep it and its smell away from Arielle.
