It was late at night when Simon woke up from his nap, he looked out the window and was surprised that it was dark already, he glanced at the empty drip bag which had been disconnected from his wrist a while ago, and sighed. He must have been sleeping deeply since he didn’t even notice when it was removed.

He pulled himself up to a seating position, noticing the relief in his legs he felt better but famished. He looked around the room, but Nick, his driver who had been in the room when he fell asleep, wasn't there. He picked up his phone to call him only to see a bunch of missed calls from different people. Which he didn’t hear.

Six were from his lawyer, Mike; five from Asher, and then even some from his grandparents. He saw the missed calls and felt confused. Was there something wrong? He wondered, thought about Alvira, and opened the last message he had sent to her.
