In My Boss's Embrace: The Mafia King Returns

"Help me!" a woman cried out from inside the car.

"Ms. Angeline?" Lucas froze. He yanked the car door open, stunned to find his company’s Marketing Director slumped inside, bleeding.

He had been on his way home from working late when he spotted the luxury sedan. It had jumped the curb and crashed straight into the bushes by the lake.

To his surprise, the driver was Angeline Jordan. She was the woman every man in the office fantasized about. Diamond-shaped face, pale skin, perfect curves, and a very noticeable 36D chest.

Lucas noticed a strange object protruding from her flesh. He knew exactly what it was. He'd seen this kind of weapon countless times back when he ruled the capital's underworld as the Mafia King.

"Stay still, Ms. Angeline. I'm going to pull it out," Lucas said.

With quick, practiced hands, he unbuttoned her blouse. Underneath, she wore a simple white tank top that left little to the imagination.

Just as he reached to pull down the tank top and her bra, Angeline's hand shot out, gripping his wrist in a vice.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Lucas stopped. Even on the brink of death, her glare was sharp. She looked at him like a cold-blooded killer.

Angeline was notorious for being an icy, ruthless boss. Everyone in the company had suffered her wrath at some point, Lucas included.

"I'm taking that needle out. If I don't, you'll be dead in five minutes."

She didn't have a choice. She had to swallow her pride and let a complete stranger, or rather, an underling she couldn't even remember, see her exposed chest.

Wasting no time, Lucas pressed his mouth to her left breast, sucking out the poison.

A minute later, he pulled back. He spat the toxic black liquid onto the dirt, along with a tiny needle no thicker than a thread. The moment the venom hit the ground, it sizzled, releasing a faint wisp of smoke.

I didn't think anyone in Verdansk had this kind of skill, Lucas thought to himself.

Since his place was nearby, he decided to take her there to recover. He slid behind the wheel of her damaged luxury car, leaving his beat-up old motorcycle abandoned by the side of the road.

They hadn't gone far when Angeline regained consciousness. She snapped her head toward Lucas, then frantically looked down at her half-undressed body as the memory of what had just happened rushed back.

"Where are you taking me? Don't try anything funny!" she snapped, her voice rising in panic.

"I'm taking you to my house so you can rest. Relax, I'm a contract employee at Liquid Corp, Marketing division. My name is Lucas."

"Oh... so you work for me?" she asked, eyeing him up and down with clear distaste.

To her, he looked like a common thug. She completely ignored the fact that he had just saved her life.

The car pulled up to a narrow alleyway leading into a rundown, lower-class neighborhood.

"We're here. My house is just down this alley," Lucas said.

Angeline stared in disbelief. There was no way she was spending the night in a slum. She furiously shook her head.

"I am Angeline of the Jordan family. I am the Marketing Director of Liquid Corp. Do not lump me in with people of your class who sleep in dumps like this. We are not the same!" she spat out. "Take me to a five-star hotel."

Lucas let out a long, exhausted sigh. "The nearest hotel is a thirty-minute drive from here. And it's a cheap motel at best. If you want your condition to worsen, be my guest. Go by yourself."

His tone was absolute ice. He didn't care who he was talking to.

And why would he? For five years, he had ruled as the Mafia King of Varkonia. He stood at the absolute pinnacle, the one untouchable man in the underworld.

He was used to looking down on everyone else.

After weighing her options, Angeline finally caved and followed him into the humble house.

Surprisingly, when they walked through the door, Lucas's mother, Rose, immediately recognized her.

"M-Miss Angeline... it's been so long," Rose stammered, her lined face lighting up with a warm smile.

Caught off guard, Angeline awkwardly returned the older woman's hug. "R-Rose? What a coincidence finding you here..."

Lucas watched the exchange, thoroughly confused. "You know her, Mom?"

Rose quickly explained that, many years ago, she had been Angeline's nanny until the girl turned seventeen.

With the introductions out of the way, the old woman hurried to prepare Lucas's room for their unexpected guest.

Barely asleep, Angeline was jolted awake. Violent shivers racked her body. Struggling to stay on her feet, she stumbled out of the bedroom and found Lucas asleep on the couch.

"Lucas! Wake up!" she demanded, her teeth chattering. "Get me another blanket. I'm freezing."

Lucas sat up, noticing her lips had turned a sickly shade of blue. He suspected the poison he'd sucked out earlier wasn't just from a fire scorpion, it had been laced with frost venom.

He grabbed two thick blankets from his closet. "Here. Wrap yourself in these," he said.

She huddled under the heavy fabric, but instead of warming up, the biting cold only intensified.

"It's not working!" she gritted out.

"Then I'll have to be your blanket."

"What?" Angeline gasped, her eyes going wide. "Don't you dare! Don't use this as an excuse to touch me! Remember, I am your boss!"

Lucas just shrugged indifferently.

But the freezing agony was unbearable. Defeated by the cold, she finally gave in.

Reluctantly, they stripped off their clothes.

Seeing her naked sent a sudden rush of heat straight to his core. Instinctively, his manhood sprang to full attention, ready for battle.

Angeline’s gaze flicked downward, her breath catching in her throat. She hadn't expected his weapon to be so ridiculously massive.

Without hesitation, Lucas pulled her against him, covering her shivering frame with his own.

Her body temperature spiked rapidly, but it still wasn't enough to reach normal levels.

Realizing this, Lucas took it a step further. He closed the distance completely, merging their bodies into one.

He felt the tight resistance and paused, stunned. She was still a virgin.

Angeline tried to struggle, ready to fight him off, but a sudden jolt of electricity surged through her nerves, drowning out her resistance and pulling her under the overwhelming tide of pleasure.

When it was finally over and her body temperature had returned to normal, she frantically shoved him away.

"Get off me, you bastard! Get out!" she shrieked.

"Shh... keep your voice down!" Lucas panicked. "You'll wake up my mom!"

"To hell with your mom! You ruined my innocence!" Angeline snarled. "I'm calling the cops! I'll make sure you rot in prison!”
