Fifty-six: Taleen

         We arrive at the hotel after forty minutes. It looks huge and reporters are everywhere. I have the right to be nervous, don’t I? I link my arm with Josh’s. He doesn’t look nervous. In fact, he seems unphased by all of this. Maybe this is because it’s not his first time. It’s been a while since he last attended a party like this one; nevertheless, it’s not a new experience for him.

          “Take a deep breath. There’s nothing to be nervous about.” He can sense how nervous I am. Hopefully, it’s not too obvious on my face. I don’t want to embarrass him in front of the cameras.

          “Is it that obvious?” I wonder, looking at him. He is so handsome. I love how he looks in suits.
