Chapter 3

Aaron

"Omg! I can't believe it!" I screamed and squealed in my room before reading the message. I took deep breathes and I opened his message. I sat on my bed after putting on my shirt.

"Hey, this is Aziel" That was his message. Sorry if the reaction was dramatic earlier okay! It was the first time someone texted me and that someone is my crush.

"Oh! Hey, how did you get my number?" I replied. I wasn't supposed to reply that way but I was panicking so...

I was about to go down when my phone notified me of a message again. At this point, I'm blushing madly. 

"Haha, sorry, I got it from your friend. Though don't think about me being someone weird or anything" He replied. 

"Ohh, okay lmao. That's okay, I don't think it's weird or anything. Anyways, I gotta eat dinner now, see you at school tomorrow." If anything, I'm glad that you have my number ehe I thought when I sent my message. My phone rang again and when I went to look at the message it was Aziel.

"Oh, okay. Eat well, see you at school tomorrow as well" He replied. Mom, I didn't know that messages can be so lovely I thought and I set my phone on my bed and I went down to the kitchen cause my mom is calling me downstairs saying it's time for dinner.

"So, how was school?" My dad asked while we're eating dinner. I drank some water before answering. 

"It's fine, the adviser is kind so are the other teachers," I told him. He nodded in answer and we all continued eating in silence. 

After dinner, I went to my room and I looked at my phone and there's a message. I looked at who it was and it's Nathalia.

"Aaronn, have you finished doing your homework?" she asked. I went to check my notebooks and books before replying.

"Yeah, it's all done. What about yours?" I replied and she replied right away.

"They're all done. Well then, I'll be sleeping, night." was her reply. I hearted the message and I lay in bed. 

I went through my social media for a bit before sleeping since it's quite late already.

I am currently at school now, Nathalia has a club meeting this morning and well, I don't have any clubs so I'm just hanging in the classroom. All alone.

"Hey, Good morning" someone greeted. I looked at who it was and it was Aziel. He sat down beside me and he settled his bag in front of him.

"Morning" I greeted, then we both became silent and it was a bit awkward.

"So uh, how was your dinner last night?" he asked. 

"It was fine, how about yours?" I replied, he chuckled before answering my question.

"I don't know, it was okay?" He answered.

"Oh, okay" I answered and it became quiet again. It's so awkward with this silence. I was about to put on my earphones when he asked a question again.

"Why are you alone? Isn't she with you? the girl who always walks with you" He asked I was thinking hard about who he was talking about.

"Oh, you mean Nathalia. She has a club meeting" I answered him. He nodded and he smiled and we did our separate things like me listening to music and him, well, I don't know what he's doing but I'm sure he's doing something.

After waiting for at least 10 minutes or so, Nathalia finally arrived in the classroom with some other classmates. And after them, our adviser arrived so we started Homeroom now.

After Homeroom ended, Nathalia and I walked to the chemistry room since we'll be having chemistry class next. Oh, of course, we went to our lockers first to get our stuff before going to the classrooms. 

When we got to the chemistry room, I saw him seated in the back row of the class. Yeah, chemistry is the only subject where I'm not seated beside him. 

He must've noticed me staring at him because he looked at me and he smiled. I was lowkey blushing, I smiled back at him and I went to my seat. 

The teacher then entered and then when the bell rang, class started.

"Now, find a pair to do the activity on your book on page 10," The chemistry teacher said. I looked at Nathalia and was about to pair up with her.

"Sorry babes, I promised Sarrah that we'll be pairing up with this activity," she said. I gaped at her when she started walking towards Sarrah. The betrayal I cannot I thought when she saw me looking, she waved and she blew a kiss at me. 

I looked around to see if I could partner up with someone and then a person suddenly tapped my shoulder. I flinched a little before looking at the person behind me.

"Oh hey!" I greeted the person, well it was Aziel. 

"Hi, do you have a pair for this activity? If you don't have any, maybe we can pair up?" He asked. Nathalia, sorry for cursing you in my mind earlier, I forgot that you're truly an angel I thought. I snapped out of my thoughts cause he was still waiting there.

"Oh! Uhm sure! I don't see why not" I told him he sat at the seat beside me and we started working on the activity. It was a writing activity so it wasn't that hard.

"I'll answer one and two and you do three and four then we'll share our answers after," I told him. He nodded and we both started answering the questions.

After writing the answer to the last answer, I looked at him just to see him staring at me. 

"Uhm, are you done?" I asked. He smiled and he nodded at me. I looked at his book to see his answers and I started answering the remaining numbers in mine because I was hiding the redness of my face right now.

"To those who have finished the homework, please hand in your work at my table and you can leave the classroom," The teacher said, I immediately stood up then I handed my work to the table and I hurriedly went out of the classroom.

What the hell was that?!
