"Sold off by who?"

"I don't know."

That was the truth. I didn't know if it was dad or Lilian's mother. But l knew I was bought by Jason, his money bought me over.

"I'm so sorry." She couldn't talk much, she probably felt it was her mother.

"He's good, in the best of my ability, I have been taking care of him. He sent his regards, also, some men have been visiting with a lot of goodies from Jason to your father."

"He does not blow a trumpet about what he does for people, so I heard."

"Good of him. So, do you like him? Stanley?"

"I'm not sure but I think he is a nice guy, let's see how it goes. No one can tell."
