The next morning

The next morning the sound of my cell phone wakes me up. I growled disapprovingly and shifted on the bed. I felt too sleepy to even open my eyes. But the cell phone wouldn't stop ringing. God, if I didn't answer, they would keep insisting. It is better to turn it off. I pulled my hand out of the tangles in my sheet and looked for the phone on the nightstand until I found it. I was going to turn it off in one go, but I lazily opened one eye and the screen said Miller Company. The dream went so fast that it surprised me.

They were calling me! I sat on the bed a little nervous and cleared my throat so that my voice did not sound raspy from being just up, and I replied:

"Hello?"

"Good morning, Elizabeth Hills?"

"That's how it is."

"I'm the secretary Vanesa Lee and we are calling you from the Miller company, I have been informed that I should call to meet you today at 8 in the morning. Do you think you can come?"

"Today?" I looked at the clock on my nightstand: it was
