Jensen’s POV
She laid her head in my lap and fell asleep almost immediately as soon as I put my arms around her. I knew that this whole experience had been exhausting on her and I couldn’t wait for it to be over. As she laid there I stroked her hair and smiled. I have only had these feelings once in my life and I never thought I would have them again. I knew that I was going to do everything I could to keep her safe, even if it meant giving my life for hers. I finally closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep holding Lynn in my arms.

Jensen’s POVThe next morning I woke early and went downstairs to the kitchen. I decided that I wanted to show off my mad cooking skills, plus Lynn and I had a big day ahead of us. I went to work making pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. I had learned to cook from Mike and Catherine’s mother. She had taken me in as one of her kids and she was an amazing woman. Jensen’s POVAfter an eleven-hour flight and a lot of time to think I was ready to get this shit done. Jacob was waiting at the airport for me when I arrived. “Is Mike and Trevor waiting at the penthouse?” I asked as I climbed into the car.“Yeah. Most of the men are at the warehouse cleaning up.” I sat back and watched out the window as the city lights flew by.“Is there any word on Jordan yet?” Jacob shook his head.“No. We watched the surveillance video. Jensen, we saw them take him. I don’t know why, but I can only assume that it is to find out where Lynn is.” I was starting to grow angrier if Joseph finds out where she is I won’t be able to get to her in time.

Jensen’s POVDream sequence (while in a coma)When I opened my eyes the pain was gone but I was alone in a dark room. “Lynn,” I called out into the darkness, but there was no answer. My mind started to race frantically as I thought the worse. I must have failed again I thought to myself. I placed my head in my hands and sat there crying. I haven’t cried like this since I lost my Catherine. I felt a hand on my shoulder but I didn’t feel threatened, I felt comfort. When I looked up I saw the beautiful face of Catherine. She held her hand out to me and I took it as I stood up. “Catherine where are we? Why are you here? Wait, am I dead?” I asked in a panic as I started to remember everything that had happened. Catherine looked into my eyes and placed her hand on my cheek.
