Upcoming Storm

Kyle was in deep thoughts about his life with Ashlyn when his cell phone rang because of the alarm he had set on his phone. He turned off the alarm and sighed because it was already five o'clock in the morning. He had to go back home because last night, he came out of the party without informing anyone. He was worried because he knew Branden very well, so he decided to go home before heading towards his office.

Getting off the couch, Kyle gathered the blanket and moved toward his room. He opened the door and entered but halted, sensing Ashlyn on the bed.

"I'm sorry. I forgot, now you're staying here. I'm sorry for your inconvenience." Kyle muttered without looking at her.

But when she said nothing, he dared to look towards his bed and found Ashlyn beneath the quilt. 'Is she asleep?' Kyle asked himself and then retired to his walk-in closet.

As he disappeared from the room, Ashlyn removed the quilt from her face.
