LOGIN“Here,” Sal muttered, stretching a drink to Andrea and she slowly took it from him.“Thank you,” she mumbled and looked around. They were still at the station because they couldn't leave yet after what happened. Andrea was still in shock and she kept trying to figure out what had happened. What did the man mean by everything he said? Why did he kill Tony? How did her mother die? She hasn't gotten answers to any of her questions. Sal’s phone suddenly beeped and he pulled it out, he checked his messages to see who had texted him. Out of curiosity, Andrea peeped through the corner of her eyes to see who he was texting. She saw that he was texting Daniel and she read the messages. “Did you handle it?” Daniel texted.“Yeah,” Sal replied, then turned off the phone. Andrea looked away. Her heart suddenly skipped a beat as a thought popped into her head. She wanted to ignore it but she couldn't. She looked around to make sure none of the cops were close to them because of what she was
Tears streamed down Andrea’s face as she watched the cops in the car. After what seemed like forever, she could finally speak up. “My… My mother is dead?” Andrea stuttered and got no response from the cops.“Wh… what happened? I saw her like thirty minutes ago, what happened?” she asked in tears with her voice trembling but got no response. After a few minutes on the road, they arrived at the station and Andrea was taken out of the car. She walked in with the cops pulling her and she kept looking around. She doesn't care that she has been arrested. All that bothers her is her mother’s death. As she looked around, her eyes caught Tony and she pulled away from the cops forcefully.“Tony!” she yelled and everyone paid attention to her, including him as she ran towards him.“Tony, Tony,” she called in tears as she got to him.“What happened? What happened to mum? What happened to her?” she rushed her words in tears.Tony slowly furrowed his brows and then shook his head.“How dare you?
THE NEXT DAY Andrea kept glancing at the bed as she got dressed and ready for work. Sal was still asleep which was surprising but knowing how difficult it is for him to sleep, she let him be. She was finally done and she turned to the bed to see that he was still sleeping. She didn't want to leave after the wonderful night they'd had, and leaving a note would be weird, so she decided to wake him up. She moved closer to the bed, sat next to him, and then tapped him gently. “Sal.” she called and he slowly opened his eyes. He stared at her and her cheeks heated up as she smiled back at him.“I’m going to work, I thought I should tell you before I leave,” she said, and he ran his eyes over her clothes. He nodded a little and she smiled at him again, she moved closer to him, kissed his cheeks, and just when she was about to pull away, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to himself. Andrea fell on him and giggled as he held her firmly.“I’m going to be late,” she said but Sal
“Hey, Andrea,” Sarah called as she rushed after her but Andrea didn't stop until she walked out of the club. “Andrea,” Sarah called and rushed to catch up with her. “Please don't tell Sal I brought you here so you could talk to Aaron, he will kill me.” she pleaded and Andrea sighed and ran her hands through her hair then looked up at the sky. “Have you ever noticed the stars were closer?” she chuckled and Sarah sighed.“Yeah, I’m dead,” she muttered then grabbed Andrea’s shoulders. “Look, you have to… “ she trailed off seeing Sal and Daniel walking out of the club.“Oh God,” she mumbled, turned Andrea toward them, then stood behind her. “Get in the car,” Sal ordered Andrea as he got to them and she scoffed and then rolled her eyes.“Get in the car.” She mimicked him and scoffed again. “Please don't make this worse for me.” Sarah moaned behind her but Andrea was too high to process anything. She just wanted to do what was in her head at that moment. “I am not going with you, it
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Andrea said as Sarah pulled her towards the club.“Sal is going to be so mad at me,” Andrea added and Sarah rolled her eyes as they got to the security and pulled out a card. An invite card. It’s an elite club, no one can just get in.“And I have a meeting tomorrow, I have to be at work early,” Andrea whined as they walked in and Sarah groaned before looking at her.“Andrea, we get it. You are a billionaire and you have a loving husband and a busy life. If you help me, I can get a loving man too, you know? And be a billionaire.” “You are a billionaire.” Andrea scoffed and she smiled proudly.“Not the point but just help me okay? I owe you.” Sarah said and Andrea exhaled heavily before nodding in response. “Yay!” Sarah giggled. They got into the club and Sarah smiled happily as she pulled Andrea with her to the bar. “So what I need you to do is simple,” Sarah said as they took a seat on stools. “Okay?” Andrea replied and she raised her hand, sign
The elevator doors opened and Andrea froze seeing Sal at the entrance. He looked somewhat relieved when he saw her, and he pulled her out of the elevator immediately. Before he could speak, Andrea did.“I… I got it. I did it, I got the drive.” she managed to say with a smile as she raised it to their face. Sal didn't look at it, he was staring at her. He could tell she had cried seconds ago and she looked frightened.“What happened to your earpiece? What happened?” he asked and Andrea blinked rapidly for a few seconds as she thought of a response. She doesn't want to tell him what happened, she doesn't want to complicate things. She got the drive and that’s all that matters.“Nothing, it fell and I accidentally stepped on it.” she lied and Sal raised a brow. He was about to speak again when Daniel and Sarah showed up.“I got it,” she said happily and showed them. Daniel chuckled and took it from her.“Great work, Andrea,” Daniel added and she smiled. She could feel Sal’s eyes on he
