Raizel's POV

Romaine suddenly brought up our situation, expressing her belief that Eleanor chose death over seeking Raizel's help.

She wondered about the consequences of breaking the curse that my fake wife had placed on Ynez, emphasizing that Ynez had told us that I was the one she needed to break her curse completely.

None of us knew the nature of Eleanor's curse. After the camping trip and the subsequent one-night stand, Ynez never mentioned it again until she left the country two months later, having given birth to our son at the age of 16.
