Amelia and Eva got down from the van they had just finished distributing for the day.

 

The two walk into the restaurant before them 

 

The word flower girl feed is written boldly at the front with light brimming at the word making it looks extra beautiful.

 

They enter inside pushing the glassy sliding door, a lot of customers eating and drinking both old, young, teens, boys, and girls.

 

 it large enough with a VIP section, VIP, executives and normal dinings, halls for meeting and all, a lot of staffs going up and down to attend to customers.

 

Eva and Emilia take the stairs to the fourth floor Eva inserts a key at the only door on that floor and they both enter.

 

Amelia jams her buttocks on her office chair while Eva snatches two bottles of water from the freezer she trow her one and pops the cover of the other one-off for herself.

 

The gulping of water sound from the two could be heard showing how much they are stressed out.  

 

"Gosh! Am tired let go out this weekend don't say no we need some time off too or we will die on work" Eva said.

 

"I will think about it Eva, am paying pinky school fees next week you know that," she said.

 

"You and I know you are making more than enough here so cut me that shit please," Eva said and removing the shirt she's wearing leaving her in a singlet, she lay down on the only couch in the office soon she doze off.

 

 

Amelia was about dozing off too when her phone rings she pick it sluggishly and answer without checking the caller.

 

"Lia"

 

" Lucas?" she answered knowing fully well only one person calls her that short abbreviation of her name.

 

"Am sorry I won't be able to pick up kinky from school I got hooked up with work here please" Lucas said on the line

 

"Okay no problem am on my way there now" she replied and hang up.

 

She sprang up on her feet pick the van key and head out.

 

She got downstairs and meet a commotion going on.

 

"What's happening here? She asked.

 

"She broke the plate" her manager a guy named Cadmus answered.

 

"Don't tell me that what is causing this? She looks at the girl in question who has her head bowed down.

 

"Gosh! are you hurt? She asked the girl looking all over her body.

 

"No ma'am" she answered.

 

"Just clean this and continue working don't let this create a scene next time Cadmus," Amelia said and walks out.

Amelia got down from the van after she finally got a space to park the van.

 

She walk down to kinky's class and met her waiting already.

 

She looks sad or something the kinky she knows will have been running up and down by now.

 

"Kinky! She called.

 

"Pretty lady! She runs into amelia's arms.

 

"Good afternoon ma'am" amelia greets her teacher.

 

"Afternoon Mrs. Thompson, good to see you today" she replied.

 

"Oh, thanks" Amelia replied and face kinky.

 

She collect her lunch from her and carried her walking out of the class.

 

"Who packs up your hair like this?" She asks kinky.

 

"A boy in our class did" kinky said hiding her face in her mom's hair.

 

"Hmmm, pretty baby tell me what I don't know? Amelia teased

 

"He was playing with another girl just now and forget me" she replied.

 

"Oh my gosh," amelia burst out laughing she couldn't believe her daughter at her age got jealous.

 

"Okay okay, maybe he just feels like okay smile for your pretty lady okay? Amelia tickles her waist a little and she laughs.

 

"Okay momma", "what did you score in your last homework? Amelia asked dropping her at the other side of the driver's seat.

 

"I scored everything" kinky replied showing out her white set of teeth.

 

"That my pretty baby let's go get you ice cream! Amelia said and step on the gas driving out of the school compound.

 

"Yahhhhhhhh!!!! Kinky giggles at the word ice cream.

 

"What of uncle Lucas? She asked.

 

"He got hooked up at work he should be home soon" she replied.

 

 

Flower girl feed;

 

 

Eva sat down in CEO's chair arranging the files on the table very well the manager just told her to be expecting visitors and she was damn angry waking up to find out Amelia is not there she kind of hated facing guests.

 

The door opens,badmus and the so-called guest walks in.

 

"Good afternoon," Eva said giving out her bright little smile to the handsome being before her.

 

"Good afternoon" he replied and sat down at the chair opposite to hers while badmus left them to talk about whatever the guy came for.

 

"Miss Amelia? The guy asked in a bright smile.

 

"Oh nahhh, she's not around now am her assistant" she replied as gently as possible.

 

"Oh am sorry am here for her I will like to speak to her not you," the guy said looking down at Eva somehow.

 

"Oh Mr is better you discuss this now or never cause you can't speak to miss Amelia in person" she replied in the same manner he did to her.

 

"Oh okay, they are Mr rush well James the assistant of brown's company," he said.

 

"Are you okay? Eva asked boiling in anger already he had offended her at first for looking down on her also, the brown's company she knows quite well don't have assistant and the only secretary she knows is the busy body bullet that fire workers up and down.

 

" how dear you use browns to lie to me! She yelled at them in disgust he was handsome with an empty brain.

 

"Can you repeat what you said? James who couldn't believe his ear asked again.

 

Eva stand up from her seat and went to his side "Mr man if you don't want this to get more than it is now, quietly walks out of here, and if you don't have a job and looking for one go to a coffee shop to apply for sales boy there out of here now!! She yelled 

 

James stands up gently trying to avoid noise cause it is obvious he hates noise and that is what she's making right now.

 

"I can't believe as you are dressed you are with empty brains," she said opening the door out for him

 

He takes one last glance at her before walking out.

 

"Just what the hell! Some people can be just stupid imagine!. She said and went to continue her sleep on the couch.
