KIRA’S POV.

“ Hi Kira.” Chad greeted with a smirk on his face. “ Who is this handsome stranger making my fiancée smile?.” He asked.

“ Fiancée?.” Alpha Alamein exclaimed and turned to me then back to him. “ Sorry. I had absolutely zero idea of that.” He apologized.

“ It’s fine. My spouse here is known well to love keeping us a secret.” Chad responded, smiling.

“ Sorry once again. I will take my leave now.” He said and turned to me. “ Thanks for the dance, Luna.” He thanked and bowed slightly before walking away.

I watched his back till he mixed with the crowd then landed my eyes back on Chad.

“ What was that for?.” I questioned angrily. Pissed that he had tried playing that game card here.

“ What was what for?.” He asked, pretending to be innocent.

“ That! The thing you did. The whole spouse, fiancée thing.” I expatiated.

“ Oh that!.” He exclaimed and chuckled dryly. “ I thought we were a couple now. You know.” He added and ran his eyes over me from toe to my hair
