CHAPTER TWENTY THREE.

KIRA’S POV.

The drive back home had been a very quiet one. Too quiet that I was starting to think that I had fucked everything up by kissing him.

He parked his bike in front of the gate and I hurriedly got down. I watched him take off his helmet and so did I.

“ Thank you for today.” I said shyly and tried to avoid his eyes.

“ I should thank you. I’m glad we hung out.” He replied and sent me a smile.

I twisted my lips upward then nodded and proceeded to turn around and leave.

“ We should hang out sometime.” I heard him say and I stopped in my tracks, smiled a little bit to myself then turned around to look at him.

“ Yea. Yea, we should.” I responded shyly.

“ Monday evening then after school. What do you think?,” He asked and I raised my eyes to look at him, my lips curling up slightly.

“ Yea. Yea, we should.” I replied with a nod.

His eyes glued to mine for a while as he was trying to study me.
