It was a pitch-black night, and Eleanor, feeling somewhat stifled, reached to lower the car window. In an instant, the sounds and lights of the bustling city drifted in, carrying the echoes of everyday human activity.

Upon perceiving her somber mood, Damian reassured her, saying, "You can rest assured that I won't bring up what just occurred with Mr. Hall."

"It's alright," Eleanor replied, a flicker of surprise crossing her face before she responded softly. She leaned against the back of the leather seat and gathered her fur coat more snugly, seeking a bit more warmth from the chill.

Erika murmured an apology from the front, appearing to be in a daze.

It was then that Eleanor's phone pinged twice, with the screen lighting up for a second before going off. It was quite some time before Eleanor picked up the phone and noticed a WhatsApp message from Dexter, stating, "Congratulations."
