Episode 17

"Aren't you going with Noah?" As Aaron and Irene entered the elevator, Aaron inquired.

Irene turned around for a moment before pressing the number 9 on the elevator button. "Not. I didn't want to feel like an abandoned person when I got home, so I decided to bring my own car."

"Is your relationship still not okay?" Aaron asked again.

"I don't think it'll ever be okay." When they arrived on the 9th floor, the elevator doors reopened. Aaron and Irene both exited the elevator.

Her steps continued until she entered the room. Irene attempted to sit up by placing her bag on the table. Her gaze was drawn to the flower vase, which held a few roses that Noah had given her.

"If you truly love me, just tell me. Why are you so ashamed to admit it? What a man."

With an irritated face, Irene opened her laptop, to start her work. A few moments later, Irene yawned in her hectic schedule; she was tired from helping Noah put out the fire and make him dinner the night before.
