6 Months Later

Victoria's POV

My office romance with Lewis had been great so far.

No one suspected a thing as we were always careful.

During intermission, we would usually meet in his office and make out or he would hold my hand while we were in the elevator, and he would wink at me anytime I was present in his meetings.

We were deeply in love now and I got to know more about him and the kind of past he had.

He told me about the only woman he loved, and how she treated him. I would never have thought that a man like him would have his heart broken. If I ever saw his ex, I would be sure to make her regret leaving such a kind man.

He introduced me to his parents a week ago. I was super nervous because they were people of high class and I wanted to be on my best behaviour. Lewis was always by my side and he made me feel calm as we met his parents.

Mr and Mrs Mark were a lovely couple and they were really nice. His older brother Lucas was almost really nic
