I looked over to the direction he shot at and saw two men fall to the ground beside our car.

"I I saved you again wifey," Roman told me and I turned to him, seeing his face turning paler by the second. "Told you you didn't need to worry when you're with me."

I heard onto him tighter as he started to let go of his weight slowly on me, "I think you're about to pass out again."

He gave me a wide grin. "I'd be pleased to do so in your arms, you know?"

"Could you be serious for once Roman?" I asked eyeing him then scanning the area to be sure we were finally clear. "You need to be quiet now or you'll loose more blood." I said as I helped him and we walked to one of the cars which was upside down now, with broken windows and inflated tyres. He settled down, dropping the gun beside him and groaned, shutting his eyes.

I moved his hair away from his face and cupped his face in my hands. "Roman, you'll need to keep your eyes open and stay with me right now."
