Chapter Twenty-Eight

Katniss led the way as we moved to the training hall. The pain I felt at my back slowed me down a bit as I trailed behind. I couldn't stop thinking about Alexander's mimic of me, it made my cheeks heat up more in embarrassment while my heart skipped a beat. It was cute. He was cute. I was beginning to see sides of him I never knew he had. I thought he was cold and unfeeling, but his recent behavior, and the way he acted around his comrades got me questioning who the real Alexander was; Did I even know him?

"You should smile more, Luna," Katniss glanced back at me, her observation prompting my attention back to her. We finally stepped into the vast training hall, and it was then that I realized the subconscious smile I had on my face. "You're different from the rumors I've heard about you."

I dropped down the nunchucks and settled on the floor, intently observing Katniss as she approached a section displaying various orderly arranged weapons. The training ground sprawled out before us,
