Chapter 6

"Mr. RK has a four-year-old daughter... Ahhh...But I had never seen her before because Mr. RK never let her appear on the screen. I almost thought it was not true..."

"But now that Mr. RK himself mentioned it, it must be true."

After RK left the company, everyone was abuzz with gossip about his daughter.

No matter if it was men or women, everyone was involved in this gossip.

Stella had been away from the city, and she had deliberately blocked all news about him from her life. She had no idea what had happened in X City over the past six years.

"Even though Mr. RK has a four-year-old daughter, he still didn't find out who was her mother. What do you think, who will be her mother?" someone asked.

"How could she not have a mother? Didn’t he have a fiancée?"

When Stella left the company, everyone was still talking about RK and his daughter.

As Stella walked out of the company, her head was in a mess.

She didn't know why anything about him still affected her...

Looking out the window, Stella mused on how much had changed in these six years. For example...he had a four-year-old daughter.

Outside the kindergarten, Stella watched as a group of children coming out with their teachers, walking toward their parents.

"Darling!" A crisp, childlike voice cut through the crowd and reached Stella's ears.

Adrian had spotted Stella from afar and ran towards her.

When he reached her, he threw himself into her arms, wrapping his arms around her legs.

"Darling! Did you come here to pick me up?"

The little boy wore a red jacket and carried a small blue bag. He was also wearing a red cap and looking at Stella with two little blue eyes on his face and blinking with joy.

He was already very cute and chubby. But now when he was wearing a red school uniform, he looked cuter and his face looked more fair and chubby.

Stella hugged her precious son tightly, showering his little face with kisses. "It's only been a day since I last saw you, and I already missed you so much. Tell me what should I do?"

Adrian giggled, showing off his row of small white teeth. His face lit up with a smile, but he replied with a touch of arrogance,

"Then, My Darling, now you had the opportunity don't let it slip away. Cherish your time when you are still with me. Love me more, care for more, cook my favorite food, and play with me...Don't blame me or cry, once the opportunity slips from your hands."

He spoke like a little adult.

"You naughty boy... How can you say something like that?" Stella said with a smile.

She couldn’t help but pinch his little nose and kiss his cheeks again. Only after that, she smiled with satisfaction..

No matter what, every time Stella looked at her son's smile she forgot about all the tiredness of the day. No matter how tired or bitter her day was, as long as she was with her baby, she forget everything.

He was everything in her life.

Even though there are only two of them at home, it was still best for her.

"Hello!"

A voice interrupted their moment, and Adrian’s kindergarten teacher came over and greeted with a smile.

It hadn’t been long since Stella returned to the country, but before she did, her best friend and Adrian’s godmother had already found the best school for him and taken care of all the necessary arrangements.

That’s why Stella was able to enroll Adrian in school as soon as they arrived.

Stella stood up and greeted the teacher. "Hello! I’m Adrian Richard’s mother. How was his performance at school today?"

The teacher looked at Adrain with a smile and replied, "Adrian is a very sensible and sweet child. Today, he even saved Mr. Kingston’s daughter."

RK's daughter...

Stella didn’t understand. From the day she had come back, she didn't know why, but she was hearing that man's name everywhere. Now she even heard his name at her son's school...

The teacher continued, "Mr. RK’s daughter, Alia, has a  heart disease. She fainted on the playground this morning and at that time teachers are not around.. The other students were too scared to help."

"At that time it was Adrain who walked over and saw her like this and quickly run to the infirmary and informed the teachers so we can save her on time."

As the teacher explained, Stella pieced together the situation.

Her son, Adrian, and RK’s daughter... are the same school.

His daughter had heart disease and Adrian saved her.

"How is Mr. RK’s daughter doing now..."

 Stella asked subconsciously.

The teacher replied, "She’s fine now. Miss Alia Kingston has fainted at school before, but she’s doing well."

Then the teacher added, "Adrian and his mother, could you please stay a little longer? Alia’s teacher informed Mr. RK’s butler about what happened. Mr. RK said he wants to thank Adrian and would like to invite him to dinner at his home for thanking him... . He also mentioned that Adrian could bring his family along."

"Ah..."

Stella heard the teacher's words and was shocked.

She held Adrian’s hand tightly and shook her head at the teacher.

"There’s no need for that. Adrian helped the child out of kindness, and that’s enough. We don’t need anything in return. Let’s skip the dinner. I still have things to do, so Adrian and I will take our leave first. Please take good care of him in the future."

With that, Stella quickly left with Adrian.

Six years ago, he said that he didn't want the child at that time she also didn't think about the consequences and said that she also don't want the child.

It was already messy to meet him again. She can't let her precious son involved in this again.

He said that he didn't want the child. She was afraid that after he found out about her son he would try to get baby.

"Chi..."

"Bang..."

As soon as Stella took Adrian’s hand and prepared to leave, she noticed a few black cars pulling up in front of the kindergarten. Five cars in total lined the street, their doors opening and closing in perfect unison as a group of people got off. It looked like they are trained before.

In the broad daylight, because of the group of people's arrival it spread some kind of black and dark aura around the kindergarten.

Just like everyone became quiet and this strong group lined up...

Suddenly, a child’s voice came from behind,. "Alia! Your father is here to pick you up!"

Stella holding Adrian's hand also paused for a moment because of all of this.

The teacher beside her shook her head and said. "It's always like this. As long as Mr. RK comes to pick up Miss Alia there are always so many cars. Some so many people love this little girl, it's pity that she has a heart disease and she is so spoiled."

Silence...

Alia... She must be his and Sophia’s child.

He could accept Alia, but he wouldn’t want Adrian...

Wasn’t he in such a hurry to marry Sophia back when they got divorced that time?
