"Surprise!" Rose and I shouted the moment Mike opened the front door.
We both chuckled seeing his reaction. His eyes rounded and he looked more shocked than surprised.
Both John and Mike hadn't come back last night for dinner. They'd told us that they were busy working at Mike's house. So, Rose came up with an idea to surprise them this morning. It was actually one of her weird ideas to help me complete my assignment.
