Alex’s throat burned, the air around him vanishing along with his vision. There was a bone-chilling cold around him, the feeling of death so near it was licking at his ear. There was a sick feeling bubbling in his throat, his insides churning along with his vigorous heartbeats. He wanted to yell out, scream for god’s sake but he barely made a peep, his body slowly descending into hell.

He clawed above him, hoping to grasp on the single thread of life that weakly strung to his body, but before he could it tore, his body flung deeper into the abyss.

Alex snapped open his eyes, trying not to suffocate with the controlled breathing he was forced into. His entire being was shaken, the sight of darkness spelling fear into him.

Was he alive?

No Bianca had said that he wasn’t but he still wanted to believe that he wasn’t dead yet. He could at least take comfort in the sight of the celling however he was paralyzed within his body again, unable to break loose f
