I woke up feeling anxious and scared to open my eyes. I was scared to know and confirm that Lee succeeded with his vile plan against me. That he managed to bruise and ruin my womanhood. And that I know that it would scar me forever.

But then, my surrounding felt peaceful and warm. I feel fully clothed under the thick sheet of comforters. And somehow, I could smell the familiarity of the blanket and pillows all over me. It smells like... the ones in my hotel room?

Or I was just imagining things, hoping to wake up in my bed and pretend that all of those were just mere nightmares. But it felt real! It is real! Even when I hope it is not...

Bravely, I finally took the courage to open an eye out. My forehead immediately creased seeing the familiar white ceiling and diamond chandelier above me. And then I closed my eye. Pressed them shut tightly, then opened them both to confirm what I was seeing.
