C H A P T E R 36

Krystal pov:

I ended up making dinner for Xavier and me. It's past seven and I was still in the kitchen, still cooking. I don't know what time he will be home but I wish he'll come early. I don't want him to eat cold foods.

After about half an hour, I was finished. The food are already settled on the table and I was just waiting for Xavier to come. I was silently wishing that he would come home early.

Fortunately about five minutes later, or so, I heard the door being open. My body jolts, I stand up. Xavier walks in, discarding his suit and case onto the leather couch. I see him remove his tie and undo two buttons of his shirt.
