I Lost Them Both

Beth's Point Of View.

I was seated on the bed, in the room with my AirPods plugged in my ears while I listened to a cool music when Lilian walked into the room. My eyes scanned her through the corner of my eyes and with a soft sigh, I returned to focus on the song.

Lilian kept going to and fro around the wardrobe, ransacking it frantically.

“Looking for something?” I pulled out the AirPods and asked.

She turned to me, glanced at me, and resumed her search without uttering a word to me.

“Really? I thought we were past this, Lilian.” I said, sitting upright with a light grunt.

She swiftly turned to me with her brows raised.

“What would you do if I tell you what I was looking for?” She asked with her hands rested on her waist, her eyes laced with a glare.

“What is it you want from me, Lilian?” I snapped as I jumped to my feet, leaving my phone lying carelessly on the bed.
