"I know you've been tailing me. You ordered that hit on my son, didn't you? Now it's time for me to take something equally as precious away from you."
Well, that was news to me. I didn't know he was aware I was the one that ordered the hit on his son.
"Since when did a fuck buddy translate into something important? She only lasts for tonight so killing her would be a waste, no? And you want that revenge so much. Killing her won't give you that."
My voice was filled with conviction, and I hoped he bought the lie. I moved my gaze to Ravenna's for a split second, and I found hers filled with fear.
"You think I'm stupid, huh? If she was just a fuck buddy that lasted for the night, why would you put her on your lap. That seemed pretty special to me."
