That morning, sunlight streamed through the window of the room occupied by Rebecca—in Ellya’s body. The girl stood in front of the mirror, fixing her long, flowing black hair. She quickly combed it, then slung a small shoulder bag across her body. Today she had to go to college as usual.

Rebecca took a deep breath. “I have to get used to Ellya’s life. I must not raise suspicion,” she murmured softly while staring at her reflection in the glass.

As soon as she stepped outside, a sleek black car was already parked in front. In the driver’s seat, Aric sat neatly dressed in a simple white shirt, his face handsome and clean. His gaze immediately turned toward Rebecca as she came out of the door. When she approached, Aric quickly got out of the car to open the door for her.

“Good morning, Ellya,” Aric greeted with a gentle smile that made his eyes appear even more soothing.
