MISSION WENT WRONG.

HAZEL'S POV.

That was a thing I didn't plan for at all, I worked on impulse. Instead of jumping to my death, I jumped over and held the balcony rails, making sure to hide myself from sight if I were to be checked from outside.

"Help!" I heard the midwife yell, "The Luna jumped!"

Then heavy footsteps ran on the balcony, and thanks to the moon goddess, the ground was grassy, and it must have looked like the grass was covering my death.

"Shit! Shit!! What will we tell the alpha?!" I heard the guards panicking. That served them right.

"Quick, let's check if she's still breathing, I should be able to revive her." I heard the midwife say, and like the rushing steps came, they left.

I quickly climbed back onto the balcony, knowing that I had to leave before they got to the floor. I peeped out of the main door and saw that no guard was in sight.
